Job Title: Tax - Director - International - Transfer Pricing
Description:
McGladrey is looking for a dynamic Transfer Pricing Director to join our growing team. Our International Tax Practice is one of our fastest growing groups and offers excellent career opportunity.
McGladrey’s International Tax practice consists of nationwide professionals with broad experience in international tax compliance and structuring matters. The practice provides outbound and inbound structure planning, foreign tax credit, world-wide tax minimization planning, transfer pricing analysis, FAS 109, foreign assignment planning and general international business advice.
In your role you will be responsible for the following:
• Lead and grow the existing regional transfer pricing practice and team while coordinating with national transfer pricing team
• Provide deep technical expertise within transfer pricing opportunities and projects
• Provide marketing support to throughout the region in the development of opportunities
• Manage all aspects of client related transfer pricing projects, which includes planning and consulting, IRS representation, tax documentation and assistance with evaluating ASC 740 positions
• Supervise, train, and mentor international tax team members on tax and transfer pricing projects and assess performance of staff for engagement reviews; perform in-charge role as needed
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
• A minimum of 9 years of progressive tax and transfer pricing experience in public accounting or consulting
• Experience in several of the following areas: strategic transfer pricing studies, financial statement analysis, valuations, quantitative and competitive analysis, statistical sampling and econometrics, strategy evaluation, and/or operational performance analysis.
• Strong tax accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP.
• Strong research and computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tax software and technology.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's in Taxation, Business Administration, Economics or other relevant advanced degree, a plus
