Position Description

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Associate with big four accounting and/or consulting background to join our growing Financial Advisory Consulting Practice in our Vienna, Virginia or Gaithersburg, MD offices. This role will focus on Government Contract Consulting.

Responsibilities will include preparing DCAA Audits, managing compliant accounting system set up and implementation and internal controls, policies and procedures for government contractors. Experience working with FAR, CAS and other federal regulations are desired. All engagements require process analysis, project management skills and the ability to work in collaborative teams. All engagements involve the analysis, development and documentation of improvement opportunities, and may include implementation and training components. Work will primarily be performed at client locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
• 2 - 5 years relevant work experience in performance improvement consulting and project management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation skills at all levels of client organizations
• Excellent data assimilation and organization skills
• Excellent self direction and team working skills
• Ability to travel

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification, extensive project management and/or or other formal project management training
• Masters Degree
• Previous experience with operational process reviews and basic internal control requirements
• Ability to anticipate and address client concerns and issues
